Above the Fray!

Living life Above the Fray is a byproduct of living in the very center of Gods will "For" your life. It means to live completely naked before Him and totally dependent upon Him for all of our daily provision. It is learning to rise above whom and what we are by the power of the spirit that lives inside us. A life spent living in front of God brings with it the realization that nothing "Did... Is... or Can..." happen to us that is not a part of His will "In" our life. We are to live in the shadow of Gods Omniscience, which means that "Worry" and "Fear" are useless concepts that have no part in our life. This brings tremendous calm & peace to our existence like nothing else can.

I have also discovered that even while we can live above the Fray, pain can still find us. For me it comes when I find myself as the tool God has chosen to use as the instrument of change in my family. Often times change and pain are synonymous with each other. Often I am attacked by doubt, and fear because so much of who I have become is misunderstood, even by my self. Yet even in the middle of the confusion I can feel Gods 'firm hand' and His 'still small voice' telling me to wait, and be still. To trust that He will finish the good work He has begun in and around me.
My reward will be to see Jesus glorified, either because I was obedient to the end or in spite of my "ignorant disobedience" when I fail to see beyond my own humanity.

I will be satisfied when I can look back in confidence knowing I gave Him 'everything' I had.

All that matters to me when everything is all said and done; is to hear Him say:
"Jim Fuller...
You have completed the race...
You have finished the course”...
“Well done thou good and faithful servant".
